The Preventive Cardiovascular Nursing Association (PCNA) is proud to host the fourth meeting of the GCNLF in Copenhagen this fall. The meeting will kick off Wednesday, October 5 at 6:00 pm in the hotel’s BM Restaurant with a reception and welcome dinner.
The first full day of the meeting starts Thursday, October 6 at 8:30 am in Meeting Room 179 with opening remarks about GCNLF mission, goals, and accomplishments. We’ll hear from Dr. Sid Smith about updated strategies from the World Heart Federation and World Health Organization on reducing the global burden of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Michelle Acorn will present on leveraging nursing to advance global cardiovascular health. Discussion groups will be formed after lunch to further delve into the topics covered.
Friday, October 7 starts at 9:00 am in Meeting Room 179 with a summary of day one and breakout group discussions. After the groups report out, the meeting wraps up with closing remarks and adjournments.
